100 q door hinge lubrication

Once the bushings have been scored, it may never go away completely - but here are some ideas.

I never had a 100q, btu i've had a parade of audis from 4000s to C5s.

Int he door jamb there are several points to lubricate - there is an actual hinge, and often there is also a spring mechanism with rollers and detents to hold it in various positions.

I like products that go on as a liquid and then set up as a grease, because they penetrate better. You cant often spray directly on to the bushing surfaces.  The product i use is Wurth HHS-2000. Many audi dealers use and sell this. Expensive, but good and lasts.

Someone tells me there is a 3M lithium grease product that is similar - and better. Maybe - i have not used it.
