HI Chris, Welcome!
not to take away from the main quattro list, but you may fare well also
posting in the s-car list regarding Ur-S's..
Im leery of heavy detergents like degreasers finding that old
gaskets/plastics,etc on the verge of failure or otherwise healthy, may
didstort and form a new leak. Besides, theres nothing like good old
fashioned elbow grease and a nice oil based cleaner. Kano labs makes great
products.
The front passenger side of the engine also has an oil switch (I think its
temp. not pressure, but i might be wrong) that fails and usually get ignored
until its a gusher..
Its simple but easy to overthink a leak... remember how gravity works but
also consider how air moving around wheter by fan or not and how it'll be
pushed around.
