5 cylinder mercedes

Not the only reason, but with 4 other cars in my driveway/garage, when it finally came time sell our largely-outgrown house and move I didn't really have room for it where we were going, and my parents had no desire to have it back. It had ZERO rust, exterior was that blue-green MBZ color of the era, tan MB tex interior, was a little tatty around the edges but was otherwise respectable. Sometimes I miss it because it's the car I learned to drive in and had a few other "memorable" experiences in....
I also miss my '79 924, for very similar reasons! Petrol Blue is/was an awesome color on that car.

Sigh... how I would love to have a 300TDT (wagon) with a four or five speed
stick, and of course with some forced aspiration. As the old-timers say.
"they don't make them like they used to...." You got rid of it just because
of a clutch release bearing!?!??!?!!?
