The GLI did put me in a weird situation. I'd check the oil level on
the '87 4kq all the time because of its leaking valve cover and age.
Turns out I was concerned with the wrong car, it burned/leaked less
oil then the newer car! Being that it only has 106k or so on the old
JT might help, but still...
