Locked Out

Subject is a 1994 S4. I locked the vehicle with the remote and upon returning home after a weeks absence I discovered that the remote wouldn't unlock the doors. To my surprise I can't unlock the doors with the key. I'm assuming that the battery is discharged but because the doors wopn't unlock I can't access the battery to charge it. Any ideas on how to ge into the car will be greatly appreciated.
