Less time on the road, component failure per mile is much higher on the
older Audi's, so they get driven much less = better condition.  

I've got a nice '88 90Q with 85k on the clock, what's it worth?  Better
question is, what could you buy with that which even comes close to
replacing it?  Won't even cover the sales tax on a comparable new car.
