If you use the iPod a lot and don't need the CD player, the IDA line
is the way to go with Alpines. The other Alpines referenced seem like
iPod control was done somewhat as an afterthought, while the IDAs are
designed for it. Works really, really well; I had one of the 9XXX line
in another car a couple of years ago and had the same frustrations
expressed here. The IDA I have now is really, really good.
