One Silverstar lasted for 2.5 years before Ann's Odyssey was totaled...the
other had to be replaced after about half that time.

I've had bad luck with the Silverstars.  When I was delivery driving in 
my Focus, they were incredible when working, but both burnt out within a 
week.  I went back to normal halogens, and they lasted till I got rid of 
the car.

So in summary, incredible light, but short-lived.
