headlight bulbs

I've had mixed luck with silverstars.  My Escalade high beams have lasted many years, but the less solidly mounted driving lights last only about a year.  I suspect vibration plays a large role.

One Silverstar lasted for 2.5 years before Ann's Odyssey was totaled...the
other had to be replaced after about half that time.

I've had bad luck with the Silverstars.  When I was delivery driving in 
my Focus, they were incredible when working, but both burnt out within a 
week.  I went back to normal halogens, and they lasted till I got rid of 
the car.

So in summary, incredible light, but short-lived.
