Salvage title

It's a car that has been totaled by an insurance company then repaired for
sale. I don't know about your state but in Florida, where I live, they can
be registered and insured just like a new vehicle. Why it was totaled is the
question. It could be a bargain or it could be a real rip-off.

My questions:  What exactly is salvage title?  Can the car be registered
with sucha  title?  Any hindrance in imprting into Canada?  Any info and
opinions welcome, incl. info re: this particular car.

BTW, I've sent an e-mail asking re: Oregon title in pics and location in WA
state, no reply so far.
