OBD-II P1237 P1238 P1239 P1240 P1241 P1242

I loaded up my A4 Avant for my trip from NH to NY. Then I got in
and turned the key.  Rrrr-rrr-rrr. Rrrr-rrr-rrr. The Bee Aitch
wouldn't start. The engine would spin, but not even a burp.

My generic OBD-II reader showed the following codes: P1237 P1238
P1239 P1240 P1241 P1242

P1237 = Cyl.1-Fuel Inj.Circ. Open Circ.
The others are for cylinders 2-6.

WTF. The car was running fine on Friday on the NY-NH run. It sat
until I tried to start it this afternoon.  For the last few weeks
it had been showing an O2 sensor code, which I'd clear. That would
stay cleared for a week to a few days.

But this "fuel injector open circuit" on "all cylinders" has me
baffled (and worried). Anyone have a clue what I might be facing?

P.S. Remember that late 70s Audi Fox I saw buried in the weeds in
Hoosic Falls NY?  It's gone. I hope it went to a good home and not
the crusher.
