Further to Just purchased a 90 with 10 valve engine

So It was all going well  after I disconnected the idle connector.  I was 
advised to clean the engine before submitting it to a road worthy test. So 
a squirted some kerosene over it then hosed it down a with a gurney while 
the engine was running
Now a I can't start it so what  have I done?
