Anyone having trouble getting their messages spam blocked

First off ... it isn't anything personal ... someone has not decided that
there is something wrong with your posts. The audifans server has an
automated spam filter that processes the messages it receives, assigns each
a score as to likelihood that the message is spam and if that score is
higher than a threshold it queues the message for moderator approval. Your
post is not thrown away, and will likely get posted when the list moderator
has a chance to review it.
I don't manage the big list, but this is something I have seen on the
audifans lists I manage on VERY rare occasion (but recently). To be honest,
I don't know what is tripping the spam detector, but from what I have seen
my recommendation is to make sure your messages are posted as plain text.
The messages I've seen caught up by the filter had HTML attachments that
were larger than the intended post ... which I would imagine is common with
such messages.
FYI ... I suspect the big list is affected even more than the sublists ...
and I know that there I often see more trash filtered out by the protection
mechanisms than messages posted by the members ...

-----Original Message-----
Hi Gang,
I just tried to post a question as to how to dismantle the screen washer
jets on my old Audi 100 (type 44) and I got a msg back saying it was blocked
pending moderator approval due to being spam rated.
Seems a bit harsh for a two line enquiry from a long time member of the
list and moderate poster.
Any hints as to how to improve my chances of getting a message below the
spam radar?
Hoping someone gets this message!!
Thanks Rob.
