To replace sections of the door seal that have worn away "fuzz", or where the rubber has worn through, you can use the seals from the rear doors of any 4k/4kq. Typically I used the upper portion of the seal. It retains the original dark color and the "fuzz" is in perfect condition. The nice thing about these seals is that you can rebend them to fit any contour. So if you want to match the exact shade of your remaining seal, you can use any portion of the donor seal.
I used a new Exacto or utility knife blade and a hammer to cut through the seal in one go. There is a metal spine and you need something really sharp to make a clean 90 degree cut. If you try to sllice back and forth, you'll muck it up. Get one end perfect, cut the other end a bit long, test fit, and then make your final cut. Use a new blade for each end for best results.
I did this and it looks uber-excellent.
Tony likes to use the trunk seal spacers to join the door seal pieces together. I used sections of rubber vacuum hose with great results. Use a little dishwash soap on the hose to make insertion easy.

If the coupe GT is a different part number it might still be available.
There ought to be some used ones (from cgt) out there - I may even have
a set in a box.
