louis-alain,
very well said. i must also confess that your english is a damn sight
better than my french. which was only briefly passable for a time when moi
was en francais. back in the mists of time. actually - try rocking up to a
regional airport in southern france, 2 days after the rainbow warrior
(french) spies were caught. and you're from from nouvelle zealand. but i
digress...
nevertheless, i must point out that my cars have had both genders, and have
never, ever, been an "it".
my ur-quattro 20v, was a garage queen, with a malicious streak the first
time i washed her i got a scratch - so she was "christine". thank you
stephen....
however, my rs2 was butch. and 2 personalities. i called him arnold. most
of the time. sometimes he became arnie. 'enuf said...
my s8 was ³jennifer². more show than go. usually...
my current car, the rs6, is "michael". as in michael jones aka "ice".
google it...
so there you go, 2 of one, & 2 of the other. it's a draw...
all the best
