Type 44's are officially classics, or at least scarce.

I haven't seen anything older than an A4 around here for years with a
few exceptions - Chris Semple's yard, Marc Swanson's UrQ and Coupe
Quattro (TT V8), my parking lot, and one red 5000 that a Mercedes
mechanic has owned since new, IIRC. It has over 400k on it, license
plate "VW5K".
