NAC VW Eurovan Camper top question

I'm not sure if it's like my old 80's Westy or not. Does it have a system of large metal bars on either side with an elbow joint in the middle of them? Can you snap a picture and send it? I can take a picture of mine tonight when I get home.
On the Westy you undo the latch, then grab the bar that goes across side to side about a third of the way from the front of the roof and push up and forward. It takes some effort. When the side bars are vertical the elbow joint will go over center and lock in position just by being over center hitting a stop.
