Temp issue

5000's don't have a fan fuse unless added later. I recall hearing about a recall or TSB, but have only ever seen it on one out of the 8 5000's I've owned.
The fan switch is on the radiator tank closest to the engine about halfway up from the bottom. It's got 3 terminals. Jump two of them together and if the fan doesn't work try a different combination (one supplies input voltage, the other two are the high and low speed signal circuits). The resistor pack is another common failure point. The resistor is screwed to the frame rail underneath the radiator, check for broken or bad connections at least (I don't recall the resistance specs.
