A/C 2001 A6

Classic expansion tube clogged, or more likely slightly low charge.  Unfortunately Audi in some crazy wisdom didn't include classic high and low ports.  As such, procedure is to evacuate and refill with measured charge.  Not diy.  If you've not had any A/C work done in the past year or two, just recharge and you'll be good to go.

I know I have read about this before but I can't find it anywhere. My ac in my 2001 a6 is turning on Econ mode all by itself. Eventually if I am on the interstate driving or something it will stay on and if I have been driving for a while without stoping at idle it will stay on but just starting the car and in stop and go traffic it turns off. Wouldn't be too bad but the wife has been driving it and she is 6 months pregnant and you don't mess with a pregnant lady... Lol. Any clues on where to look?
