B3 dash swap in to a B2? Anyone have any insight?

I'll agree with Huw.
The B3 dash is narrower by a bit, the front of hte top will have to be
cut shorter, and the speedo is electronic. I have put one in my 82
Jetta Diesel, but anything I wanted in there was going to be a
project.
As Huw mentioned, the 4kq ones are a dime a dozen, and easy to do. In
fact, I think I have at least two of them, not counting the four
4000Q's that I drive.

Any information greatly appreciated, I am sure rewiring the console would be in order, and likely some cutting on the dash but havent been able to find much on the swap. I am certain the dash would need to be recessed a bit as on the B3 sedan the dash overlays the door panel by a few inches, which is not the case on the stock B2 dashes.
