Audi and Electricals (Kinda Long) C5/A6

Brian,
Yes, the 'P R N D 3 2' all light up in the dash. But I also get a 00668 error
with open or short to ground terminal 30. The only module that throws this is
the TCM. When when I reset the code, the 'P R N D 3 2' displays correctly.
When I re-start the car the 'P R N D 3 2' are all lit up hence my assumption
that there is a wiring issue.
Good advice from you, Chris, and Cody on getting the manual which I've ordered
from Amazon ($61 including shipping). Other than another visual inspection, I
won't test anything until I the manual arrives.
Thanks for the wiring diagram link.

This was recently posted and would be good for you to read;

What Chris and Cody said is on point, more than often a thorough visual
inspection will reveal the root cause of the problem whether its moisture or
something cut or loose.. besides if you are not to sure what you are probing you
could wind up compounding the situation.
I'm also not fully sure on what the symptom you describe is. If its the 'P R N D
3 2' display on the cluster, well, those clusters arent the best..
Also, if not from my local shops, I have purchased bentley manuals from a guy
that goes by "bimmerzone" on ebay, with good experience. You need the correct
manual.
