High Pressure Hydraulic Hose

Hi all,

 

I just changed my low pressure hose, the hose from reservoir to pump using a
"Dayco Abrasion King PUSH-ON 710-50 /8 <15.5> 3000PSI MAX WP MSHA IC-123/10
MADE IN USA 010808C". I just arrived home after having driven 170km and the
end of the high pressure hose that pumps to the rack at the pump end came
off. Oil squirted onto driveway. It is a banjo fitting to pump. The hose is
around a 8mm inner metal tube; and around the hose end a 20mm outer metal
tube. I cut off the 20mm end and am going to use a hose clamp around the
hose and inner tube. I think if I use a 6mm wide hose clamp to bind end of
hose to banjo ending should suffice. The hose looks in good shape.
