Hey everyone, I realize it's probably an entirely different crew these days... But ever since I sacrificed my 5000csqt I've been drooling over every old quattro that came across the classifieds. Several '90 corrado g60s, a '92 YJ wrangler, '87 f150, two astro vans, a scirocco 16v, and too many ancient bikes to count later... I found a '91 90 quattro 20v. I dumped all the vehicles I had and picked it up. It needs a lot of work but it always runs. Not well, but it runs. I suppose I'm asking a question... Is this mailing list that I signed on to about ten years ago still interested in working out tricky problems, spreading the knowledge of who has the parts you need, and in general old audis staying on the road? By the way I'm in the NE and this 91 doesn't have a spot of rust on it. Wish it had the original quattro in it, but the torsen diff is alright when you get used to it. To clarify I'm a bus mechanic and I'm rusty on these old girls. I see a lot of similar things, but many different in the 91. I can't find a bentley and gave away my old one with the 5000. Am I still speaking the same language as the list? Hope so, and for pride the 91 took 8th in its first ice race out of 20.. On firestone FR380s (shit tires, never buy them)
