Not to drive this one off topic...but what clutch kit did you install?
My B5 A4 I.8t Q, will be needing one soon, and I hear lots of complaints
about many different flywheels.

  the 1.8 and the 2.0

to the lighter and less quattro'd gti and a3, hence my desire to look
  at the
  3.2 a4's. With the a4 2.0t's I've driven recently, it's like you mash
  the
  pedal

If you don't like downshifting, 3.2 is the way to go. Mashing the
  pedal is
not the fastest way to drive a turbo.

Part of the problem is the dual-mass flywheel, all in the name of
  smooth
  drive. I recently installed a clutch kit in 1.8T with a single-mass
  flywheel
  - 14.6 lb. - in the place of the 22 lb. dual-mass and it feels
  happier.
Every bit as smooth as the OEM, if needed, after a day of driving and
getting used to it. DK if single-mass flywheels are available for
  2.0T.
