Fay - clay is what it sounds like. A block of clay that you rub, with water, over the surface of the car to pick up solid pieces of junk.
Beware - it can do more harm than good if not used properly.
#7 is a glaze, which means a fine polish. It is used to bring back an oxidized or lightly scratched paint before waxing.
The NXT wax i suggested has just the slightest light polishing effect in it already, but is far safer for normal people to use.
