"i also like to flow solder into the connection once crimped"
I thought I was the only one that did that ;)
I just went out and got 15' of 2G - lugs and an new batt terminal.
Thanks!

either a splice or a replace will fix it - splice is quick and dirty,
full replace is ideal. any decent car audio shop could whip you up a
nice 4awg run in whatever length you need and whatever connectors on
either side. if you dont have a sufficient crimper.
i also like to flow solder into the connection once crimped. heatshrink
and some braided jacketing and you're in bizness.
