Would NG engine mate to 4KQ tranny/chassis?

I love the engineering of the VR6. However, I'm not a big fan of it in the
real world. Too many expensive parts and repairs on it. Same goes for the W8
and W12. But, that doesn't take away from the fact that the packaging is
still a marvelous thing!!
