Would NG engine mate to 4KQ tranny/chassis?

I will second what Huw says.  When I first had my 4kq I used to take it to a
German independent shop for some of the service.  The primary tech had a
late model Audi 80 and he commented several times that my JT powered car was
quite a bit stronger than his.  When I wanted more power I when 10v turbo
with MegaSquirt.  Since then many more have done the swap so there is tons
of information like Huw said.  In the small body cars a well tuned 10v turbo
with even moderate boost will give a Mustang GT a run for its money.  Going
turbo is a bit more work, but does transform the car.
