OK,  not what I was expecting. Who knew?

(The ad is for a 1941 DeSoto S-8  custom sedan.)


I had to  look at the pictures to be sure, I guess the DeSoto '42 model was 
the first  car with disappearing headlights. Or, was that the "coffin 
nosed" Cord ?
