Yeah the GT1 is pretty decent, but it's obsolete. I don't recall exactly, but I think it stops after 2007 cars. If you've used an Autologic you'll be disappointed in the GT1, but then again the price is a bit different ;-). You might check out the iScan2, it's Pretty awesome at OE level coverage at a reasonable price point. I know a dealer very well so let me know if you want to be put in contact. It will do anything a GT1 can do, TECH2, Ford IDS, Nissan Consult2, VAG1551/2, and a few dozen others.

I've used a ton of scan tools, been lucky to work with some people that have an infinite tool budget. VAG-Com, Durametric (Porsche), Tech2, Ford IDS, Volvo VADIS and VIDA, Autologic for Rover, Jag, and BMW, GT1, AutoEnginuity, ConsultII, bootleg Star/SDS (Mercedes), Genesys, Snap-On brick, the new SnapOn tool (cant recall the name), iScanII (best handheld, OE level on many makes), and more buts that's all I can recall off the top of my head. If anybody has any other questions feel free to ask.

I don't have a good interface for BMW/Mini and would like one. Too bad Ross-Tech dropped the BIM-COM project a few years ago... that would've been awesome.
