Dont forget that VAG-Coms generic OBDII section is outstanding as well for non-VAG cars. I use my VAG-Com at the shop for ALL code reading and data gathering duties, I love it.

Vag-coms are a cheap investment... You don't see many used ones for sale or people regretting buying them.
