Brake drag

Good point here also.

It so happens that two weeks ago I heard the rear left side rotor making a metal-to-metal drag sound every time I applied the brakes.

The inner pad was completely gone, except for the metal portion of it which was dragging against the rotor.

The little piston-like screws of the caliper that attach to the carrier were frozen in place with rust as the little rubber boots were cracked and let water in.

The other pad, one facing the tire, still had about 90% material on it.
