Diagnostic fee limit

True, true... however, it was a dire straits situation.  Very cold
temperatures, and my condoplex (is that a word), only has carports.  In
addition, at the time mechanics in my "city" haven't worked on an Audi, much
less have heard of one.

And...  If it is the standard built to fail Audi ignition switch, the 
replacement part cost about $40 and it can be replaced in well within 
an hour of labor (at least it can be replaced in under an hour by Mr. 
Fumblethumbs - me).  Did you know that "scrod" is the past participle 
of screwed?
