Brakes

I have the same set on my A4 Avant. No dust, a bit of squeal prior to
bedding in the pads, and rarely any fade. Of course I would have loved to
go the Brembo route, along with slotted and drilled rotors, but budget
prevailed. Have had a couple panic stops, one involved Bambi a year or so
ago, and one just this morning- a trailer without functioning lights. No
fade.

Believe it or not, I have the duralast gold ceramic pads and rotors from
autozone and I'm pretty happy with them (the rotors obv aren't ceramic in
the lower price range)
They're quiet, stop well, don't fade much under back road abuse here in NH,
and are cheap. I want to sat about 250 for all four corners (disc) on my mk3
Jetta.
