Did connect left and right side wires together. Brake pad wear warning light
is still illuminating. I'm going to continue working on the issue and will
get back to the groups.

So, did you connect them together, that is, each pair of wires? If so, the
problem lies upstream of that as I mentioned yesterday. If not, you need to
connect them together, as they see any open circuit (cut wires) as worn out
brake pads and a short as a new set of pads.

The whitish brake drum symbol is illuminating which according to the Audi
manual indicates worn front brake pads, only in my car's case the sensor
wires have been disconnected.
