sanity check in aisle 9.. 2005 a6 v8 sline

wow i wonder why the s6 is so different? the s4's were similar to that - 12
if you're into it and MAYBE 20 with the cruise set to 65 on a flat hiway.

i did see 27 in stasis' s5 once.. under above conditions. could feel the ecu
leaning things out and avg mpg crept up over an hour or so [sf to la].

dan - was out for a drive and bambi jumped in front of me. cold am, wet
road, swerved to avoid and car went off the road. turns out they suck off
road.

wasnt a ton of damage but enough.. both sides would need paint, suspension
was tweaked, wheels all bent [new rotiforms], and bumper, intercoolers, ac,
probably some subframe damage as well. adjuster said 16k before they even
went under the car. sayonara to new rotiform wheels, brand new contis and
pss9's.. ugh.

i SHOULD buy a truck, but i dont want to drive a truck. also looking at
subarus, and several other options. keep coming back the the audi.. as a
single car to do it all they are hard to argue with.

theres also an 06 3.2 avant local. i imagine they're really slow.. but the
wagon would be really nice.
