'91 100q Fuel Pump Fine Whine

The pump has 205k miles on it?
Can't expect it to be too quite at that point.

Is the pickup screen clogged?

My '91 100q at 205k miles runs great. 

At idle, I can hear this high-pitched whine that I am pretty sure is the
fuel
pump. Without this noise, the car would be virtually silent at idle, which I
prefer. 

Is there a quieter design on these fuel pumps?
