AC York Compressor Clutch Acting Up!!!

Well, at least around here, "the season is upon us".  This prompts me  to 
offer a suggestion. Why not dump the York? That is truly antiquated  
technology, I have one for my '64 Plymouth for originality. 
 
Quite a number of years ago, the York compressor on my 280c failed. After  
some searching the web (much easier today) I was able to find a bracket  
that would mount a Sanden. Cheap Baztird that I am, I found that a JY SAAB 
could  supply the compressor. I cannot promise, but I am fairly certain that at 
the  same time I found a bracket that would mount a Sanden to my '82 Coupe. 
Never got  anywhere with that conversion. But, it did noticeably improve the 
 performance of the A/C in my 280c.
