My new valve cover gasket is made of rubber. I have the Bentley Manual. So I
can look up the torque for the valve cover nuts. Tnanks!

No, just install it and don't over-torque the nuts - they are supposed
to be very low torque, I forget the number.
I hope your new gasket is the rubber one not the cork one.
