no, 4k is shorter, but good if you put an 01E trans in your 90.

Does anyone know if a 4k quattro prop shaft will fit in a 1988 90 quattro ?

They have different part numbers although the last 6 numbers are the same by the 
initial 3 are not. And of course the 4k has the 016 tranny and the 90 has the 
01A.
