its almost always the center support bearing in the propshaft. Fing PITA to
replace but totally DIYable.

034 [and others] sell em. cheap part. make sure you mark the dshaft well so
you can orient it the same when you reassemble. otherwise you'll throw off
the balance.

i actually found a local drive shaft shop that rebuilt mine for a few 100$.
they did the csb, ujoints, painted and balanced it so that worked for me.

whatever you do dont give audi the 1500$ they charge for a whole new unit.
