I have the same problem in my '88. Only "issue" is that the window
clunks when I shut the door with the window down.
Looked at some spares and found that unlike earlier cars, those bonded
rubber bushing things are not separate parts.
I'd try gluing them with RTV (silicon) after a careful cleaning with
something like alcohol. Be sure to allow plenty of drying time for the
glue.
