Since I rebuild window regs for UrQ's and CQ's a lot, I've replaced a ton
of them. I just use fuel filter mounts. The factory window motor ones are
actually two different sizes. However, the filter mount ones are in between
teh factory ones, and have worked fine on the dozen or more I've done.
If they are integral as Huw mentioned (I havent' seen any like that, but
It's not like I've seen every version of Audi parts through the years) then
I'd probably grind the area flush, drill and tap it. Then, install the
filter mounts.
