Sounds more like a specific connection issue if the voltage to teh ECU is
going low. Check all the connections to the battery, then the ground from
there to the body to the engine(bellhousing bolt IIRC). Also, check the
battery connection to the starter, and the connections from the battery to
the fusebox.
