The lil' red wagon is now sold : only problem, it's not to Honey, it's to
her sister... At least it will stay in the family. 

The good news : the car is very nice, according to the Audi dealer that
inspected it. More, and that is a huge bonus, they told us that this car is
still under warranty for 2 more years and 40 000 km... It turns out that the
first buyer, a young woman, bought the extended warranty from Audi but the
actual used car seller didn't knew that ! Or so he said.

Anyway, the 185$ inspection revealed 2 things : a rear shock was leaking,
but it is now replaced with a correct OEM unit by the seller.

Audi also told us the automatic air conditioning system can't direct airflow
towards the driver's feet. This repair is covered by the newly found
warranty, and will be done next week, when the car will actually be in the
new driver's possession. 

Now, over that, the car will need 4-seasons carpet and winter tires.

What carpet would you suggest ? Audi Sport someone said ? Or Lloyds ? Or
OEM's ?

And for winter tires, is there any no-no for using 18" proper winter tires
on the OEM wheels ? She doesn't know what to do with dedicated winter
wheels, so it might be the easiest thing to do for her. Quebec mandates 4
winter tires on all cars, but isn't some Nokians that are winter-rated but
useable all year round ?
