Replace the battery. If it is too dead the voltage drop will prevent it
from being boosted.

The car has been sitting in the underground garage for the entire winter,
probably longer (one tire is flat, another one half-flat). The battery is
completely dead, no lights come up on dashboard. When boosted, does not
turn over, only slight clicking can be heard, like a relay. Definitely not
the bendix. Feels like something is preventing the car from starting.

electronic controls. The car needs to get out of the garage under its own
power, no flatbet can get there.
