Same thing happened on my 1990 200TQA.  It got worse as time went on, and
the low fluid idiot light and brake light would blink with the warning
buzzer enough to be annoying.  

I ended up changing the Autocheck Board for the instrument cluster and
the problem was cured.  I replaced it with a used board out of a 100T,
there were some extra chips on the Turbo board, but I never noticed any
difference in operation.
