Nope, but a skipped timing belt can. THe one thing never stated in this
thread is if the timing marks line up. I know I've suggested it at least
once, that is key, If the TB is still turning the cam, but jumped teeth,
you will have compression issues. Start with the basics, they only take a
second to check!
