'91 100q 5 injectors replaced - now car wont start

Timing marks lined up..
Any chance a keyway sheared?
Pretty simple to check crank/cam relationship in those motors- pull the
valve cover and turn to #1 TDC. Cam lobes should be pointing in the
relative "up" position. Screwdriver down spark plug hole will verify piston
is up.
Coolant in 3 holes? Really? How did the car drive before you started the
work? Were the injectors being replaced for a drivability issue?

Tried oil in the spark plug hole to no avail. Timing marks are lined up.
My mechanic advised that he thinks he is seeing coolant in 3 spark plug
holes.
I am baffled. Everything else in this car is in great shape.
I am about to part this thing out or just sell it as is. It's in Northern
NJ.
Any other advice?

I had this happen on an FC that I had that required removing the fuse for
the
fuel pump and then squirting ATF in the cylinders and spinning the engine
with
the starter to get compression back.
