Headlight interchangeability - UrS6

 models?  FA says only 95-96 A6/S6 is compatible. 
 We are looking at a possible buy of a car with a cracked
 headlight, replacement would be needed as temporary fix to
 pass safety inspection, proper headlights to be installed
 later.
